Accessing Service

FSEAP provides professional counselling and health promotion services for organizations, employees and families.

If your employer or union has a contract with FSEAP Vancouver to provide an Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP) you can initiate service by calling 1.800.667.0993 (TTY 1.888.234.0414).

A professional EFAP counsellor will answer your call. Your call is confidential, within the limits of the law.  The intake counsellor will need a few minutes of your time to collect some basic personal information so that she/he can provide you with the best possible service.

The intake counsellor is available to:

• Provide information about your coverage and the services available to you
• Assess how fseap can best meet your needs
• Make a referral to an EFAP professional
• Supply you with resources

If you do not know if your employer has a contract with FSEAP you can approach your human resource department and ask for information about your benefits package. Even if your organization does not have an EFAP contract with FSEAP, you may have access to other health benefits that you can apply to counselling services.

FSEAP Vancouver offers its counselling services in hundreds of locations across B.C. and, as a part of a national network of FSEAP offices, offers counselling services in thousands of locations across Canadian and the U.S.
