Counselling Services

At the heart of the services provided by FSEAP is our confidential counselling service. Whatever your need or concern; FSEAP is available to offer assistance.

Crisis Counselling

  • available 24 hours a day, seven days a week
  • direct access to professional counselling staff through our toll-free telephone lines

Personal Counselling for Individuals, Couples and Families

Personal counselling is accessible as a scheduled office, telephone or on-line (e-counselling) appointment. Our counsellors are caring, competent and collaborative in working with you to discover a solution that is right for your situation. They use a flexible, short-term, solution-focused approach and are trained to address a wide range of personal, family and/or work-related problems. These may include:

  • Personal development
  • Communication
  • Relationship issues
  • Family concerns
  • Parenting
  • Separation and divorce
  • Family violence
  • Childcare and eldercare issues
  • Anxiety and depression

At the time of your initial call, a FSEAP counsellor, will talk with you about your reason for calling and assess the level of intervention that is required to address your issue or need. Our counsellor will work with you to develop the best plan to meet your needs.
