Founded in 1975

We are a national provider of employee assistance programs (EAP), employee and family assistance programs (EFAP), wellness solutions and organizational consulting.

As the only not for profit, community-based EAP provider in Canada, we strive to sustain healthy workplaces and strong communities. We are committed to designing and delivering services that meet the unique needs and concerns of organizations, their employees and family members, thereby enhancing the health and effectiveness of the organizations we serve.

We are experienced in supporting employee populations small and large, centralized or dispersed, urban or remote. Our own culture of collaboration inspires our EFAP partnerships, meaning that every program that we design is unique to the organization and based on mutual goals.

Why FSEAP?

We continually demonstrate our commitment to providing quality services. We are accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA), and are the only provider that has won the Employee Assistance Society of North America’s Corporate Award of Excellence four years in a row.

Our customers choose FSEAP because our culture of collaboration inspires our EFAP partnerships - every program we design is unique to that organization and based upon mutually developed goals. We help our customers:

  • Gain and maintain healthy and productive work environments
  • Keep employees well, focused, and at work
  • Reduce overall health care and disability claim costs
  • Create better workplace culture and organizational morale

What Makes Us Unique?

We are a different kind of EAP. Most organizations today are committed to corporate citizenship and "giving back” with initiatives that support charitable causes, community participation, and environmental and social responsibility. These values contribute to a healthy workplace and community culture. FSEAP shares these values, but with a unique difference.  We are the only Canadian EAP provider structured as a social enterprise.

FSEAP agencies, located across Canada, play an integral role in their communities. All Family Service (FSEAP) agencies are guided by principles of fairness, inclusion, learning and collaboration. As Family Service agencies, our shared vision of healthy, vibrant and thriving communities results in social mission or “people focused” EFAP services. As a National social enterprise 100% of our profits support, not shareholders, but diverse community-based programming for children, youth, adults, families, and seniors in communities throughout Canada.
